The Seattle Seawolves are thrilled to announce the signing of Calvin Liulamaga, a standout center from Auburn, Washington, who will join the squad for the 2025 season! At 6 feet tall and 210 pounds, Calvin brings power, agility, and a strong connection to the Pacific Northwest rugby community.
Calvin’s rugby career began with four years at Rainier Rugby Club before moving on to five successful years at Central Washington University. He continued his growth with stints at Loggers Rugby and Wolverines Rugby, earning accolades along the way, including two Collegiate All-American titles, a Rudy Scholz Award nomination, and recognition as a High School All-American.
“I’m excited to play for Seattle because it’s my hometown, and there are a lot of great players I want to learn from. Being able to play in front of Seattle is a dream because I have so much family here, and it’s a blessing to be able to be close to them.”
Head Coach Allen Clarke expressed his excitement about Calvin joining the team:
“It’s great to have a local collegiate draftee join the squad for 2025!! Calvin is an exciting prospect, who now has the opportunity to play professional rugby for his home team. He’s a wonderful example of the quality program run by CWU. I envisage Calvin to be a catalyst for all young players in the area with ambitions to be a Seawolf.”
